Hi, I’m Emily Gaston! I currently work at a digital marketing agency in downtown Cincinnati as a Senior Interactive Designer & Marketing Coordinator. I also teach a UI/UX design course as an Adjunct Instructor at Cincinnati State Technical and Community College.
I’m passionate about UI/UX and the psychology behind design, brand identity and development, design for social and environmental change, and helping aspiring designers. I stay actively involved in helping design students in the Cincinnati area by judging portfolio reviews for Cincinnati State and AIGA, tutoring, and speaking with students about careers in design through informational interviews and participating in career prep classroom discussions.
Things that fill my soul: Hiking and paddleboarding with my dog, obstacle course races, weight lifting, ballroom dancing, church, cooking, and reading a LOT.
