Ever heard of briquetting? Briquetting is the process of compressing manufacturing scrap, like metal shavings and wood chips, into solid ‘briquettes’ that can be reused or sold to save both money and the planet.
Feeling the crunch of no trade shows and no sales-related travel at the height of COVID, RUF Briquetting Systems was looking for ways to reach prospective customers digitally.
Their refreshingly clean and eye-catching redesigned site now helps clearly demonstrate to their target audience the ROI of briquetting. With a terrific website transformation complete, and additional work completed for tradeshow materials and digital advertising, RUF is on the path to digital success.
In addition to the website redesign as a custom WordPress site, several videos were created for the site to showcase the briquetting process to potential customers.
With briquetting machines being such expensive equipment, RUF’s sales cycle is incredibly long. That’s why it was important to design ad landing page templates so RUF could employ remarketing ads to site visitors.
These templates employed all ad landing page best practices: engaging images, short attention-grabbing messages, a short form in the hero (something Google loves to see for SEO rankings), clear and specific CTAs, showcasing past expertise and authority, a 1-2-3 step process to success, and a very simplified navigation design.
In addition to the website redesign, RUF began attending industry tradeshows again post-COVID and needed sales materials. Using the primary “Stop leaving money on the floor” messaging, tradeshow banners and booths, flyers, and digital ads were designed to support their sales efforts at tradeshows across the nation.
Digital ads were served to potential customers before, during, and after each tradeshow (using geofencing technology).
In keeping with the visual approach created for their tradeshow materials and digital ads, RUF had fake money created with their contact information on it that was spread all over the floor of their tradeshow booths. Their display was the talk of each show and sales increased!
